OBJECTIVE:
Provide
both detail and summary reports based on legacy accounting data to examine the
number, frequency, type and origin of transactions to help managers implement
efficiencies and target training efforts.
REQUIREMENT:
Program automated imports and formatting of on-going legacy accounting
data into a system that allows administrators to select report criteria
by service or posted date range, provider group, transaction group,
specific transaction code and data-entry batch of processed records.
Program logic into the system whereby the report criteria selection
interface, based on a previously selected parameter, only displays data
actually available in the system. Provide report results to other
programs for further analysis and custom formatting.
RESULTS EXPERIENCED BY CLIENT:
The new application provided reporting capability heretofore unavailable
from the existing system, allowed greater amounts of data to be included
in analysis, increased accuracy, and reduced the amount of time and
effort required for transaction management. Summary reports focused
attention on specific transaction types with higher than expected
numbers for particular groups, and the ability to drill-down to the
detail of these data, helped to pinpoint and remedy practice management
issues.
APPLICATION FEATURES:
- Extensive automated
legacy data import, parsing and normalization
- "Smart" report
criteria selection interface
- Sophisticated
Transaction Summary Report with Drill-Down
- Automated exports of
report data to Microsoft® Office™ applications
INDUSTRY: Medical Practice Management.
